Venice got to count almost 120 churches, one on every small islet that forms the city's unique structure. Many of these small churches are real hidden jewels still housing their original decor. Because of being built for a good reason and on a specific site, each church has an intriguing history, often connected with some miraculous event. What a wonderful adventure is to stroll through the city, stopping and entering one of these gems, it's almost like being in a treasure hunt! This talk is meant to provide inspiration to all future visitors to venture beyond the “traditional sites”...because there's so much more to Venice than St. Mark's Square!
